Rice admits "thousands" of errors in Iraq

BLACKBURN (Reuters) - U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice accepted on Friday the United States had probably made thousands of errors in Iraq but defended the overall strategy of removing Saddam Hussein.

"Yes, I know we have made tactical errors, thousands of them," she said in answer to a question over whether lessons had been learned since the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq in 2003.

Mistakes, mmmmmmmmm we all make them. It why we learn and how we learn not to make them again.
I am sorry, but I have to say something about Iraq! this isn't going to be popular with the anti iraq crowd. We Americans talk about helping the needy feed the hungry stop this, stop that do more of this don't do so much of that. It Bugs me! that People in IRAQ were DYING! AND BEING TORTURED under a man that wanted to rule the world. We seem to forget that we ARE actually HELPING PEOPLE in that part of the world. War is not Popular. I am not for WAR, but. THERE has NEVER BEEN PEACE with out it.
I understand we have made mistakes over there, but at least we are not turning our heads anymore and hoping everyting will be allright with those people.

So yes we made mistakes. We (HUMANS) will continue to make mistakes. I may be making a mistake stating my opinion on this. But hey I am free to do that. And now IRAQ is FREE to do the same.
